Missing Exhibits: Half shift
A short adventure game about a museum guard, who has to watch out for a museum in the night. As some exhibits have been reported missing, it is key, that whenever any item disappears, the missing exhibit button must be pushed as soon as possible!
This game contains flashing lights, sudden sound and image effects, scary imagery and use of caffeine!
This game serves as a demo version of the game Missing Exhibits: Night shift.
The web version can be played in the browser, and the desktop version can be played, if the folder is unzipped, and the Missing Exhibits Half shift application is started.
The desktop version has better graphics.

Hey, is the full game still being developed? I've played through this to completion and it was incredible. You know your way around game design and it shows, and I'd absolutely love to see a full product with more exhibits going all the way to 6 AM. Literally my only complaint is that the flashlight is virtually useless. Otherwise the game's seriously incredible.
Hello, thanks for the coment, I'm working on a new game, but it will take a somewhat different direction.

This looks SOOO amazing, the only problem is, that whenever I move, it is completely blurry until I stand still. So it makes it almost impossible to focus on anything, which in turn, means It is really hard to see at all. I have to stand completely still to even begin to see what I'm looking at. And obviously with time constraints I loose every time. I really wish I could play this. Any clue why its so blurry? In the play through vids it is not blurry. Also, just my opinion, it would be nice to get the lay of the land before the first theft. Or maybe it's just that I can't see right. LOL
The motion blur might be a bit too high, I'll try lowering it, and in the upcoming versions I'll create an options menu, where this can completely be switched off. (I've experienced this too, when the game became a bit slower).
Thanks for the feedback!
Wow, that was quick. :) Well, I look forward to any updates, as I can tell it's fun, I just can't see, bumping into walls etc. Oh PS, how do you add new batteries to the flashlight. TY
Flashlight changes batteries automatically, and you can find batteries scattered all over the museum. If you find coins, you can also buy some at the wending machine.
oh sweet. TY 4 the tip. It is a fun game. I just like to explore in games and it's busy busy busy. LOL
Desktop version is too stretched on my screen, so I wanted to play in browser. I can't, because there is a green mess covering my screen.
I would like to try the game, but I really can't.
Hello, I haven't met this bug, but I do encounter weird, green coloured things in the game, so there's definitely some kind of error on my side.
I'll try to correct this as soon as I can, thank you for the feedback.
One of these days i've checked on the project, and I had this problem in Chrome. In FF, it was fine.
The interesting part is, that today, it worked well, currently I'm planning on restarting the project, I hope to watch out for stuff like this.
Good game and great atmosphere.
Cool walthrough, thank you! I really wanted to make a cool cover image for the game, but your youtuble cover image is way better.
I'll hope to get a bit more variety in the final game.
Once again, thanks!
Wow, this is a extremely well made and interesting game, well done! The retro art style is really well implemented, creating heaps of atmosphere, and the small details like the tv and arcade game make it really immersive. Great all around!
Thank you very much, I'm planning to add more clips to the tv, and make it in a way, that during the night, more and more details come clear about the situation the player is placed in.
